They keep me warm in the winter and my wife helps me pick out hose. I still don't have the nerve to wear with shorts in public. I haven't run into any issues when buying from a store all the sales ladies are willing to help and even make suggests on different styles. They also help with some pain in left calf. I really enjoy hanes silk reflections. The legs have just enough support to keep my legs feeling fresh all day. I’ve been wearing pantyhose off and on for close to 40 years. I wear skirts pantyhose, womens shoes etc etc. I go out during the day hours wearing them and have found out that most people dont seem to be bothered by it. Lets face it: I am all man but I like to look & feel pretty. Thats just the way i am. I dont hide the fact that i am a male when wearing skirts etc. I go shopping dressed up all the time. I do get some funny looks quite often but it doesn't bother me. I also get an occassional compliment by women and that shows me that it is becoming acceptable to wear what you like. Just yesterday I bought my first dress and it really looks good on me with black legg's sheer energy pantyhose and patent pumps. The point is: Dont be embarrassed to wear pantyhose or whatever it is you like. And be yourself when doing it just like you would in jeans & a t-shirt. If you dont act phony then most people will be ok with it. PS: I also wear colored and patterned tights with my skirts & shorts. Have fun with it. Women do!!!
